| Tour
the fabulous South Island of New Zealand in a Mazda MX5 convertible
coupe, enjoy the clean air and see the great scenery in the best
way possible.
It's
time to plan your trip and enjoy the roads of the gorgeous
South Island (and North Island if you have the time). Please
feel free to ask for routes, ideas and information. The earthquake
in Christchurch earlier this year have not affected our business
or the rest of the South Island.

Planning
suggestions
If you are planning your holiday in the South Island and want
to cover the southern highlights like the Southern Lakes, Wanaka
and Queenstown, we suggest flying in to Christchurch (reliable,
all weather airport) where you can pick up your MX5 and start
your break with a day or two to look around Christchurch, perhaps
take a day trip to Akaroa, then head south, taking the more
quieter, scenic route along the edge of the foothills through
Darfield and Staveley to Geraldine and on to Fairlie and Tekapo.
Take the next few days to enjoy the great lakes, mountains and
roads through to Queenstown. When time presses move westward
via the Haast Pass to travel north on H6, stopping for the glaciers
and enjoying fabulous Westland and the National Park. If you
don't have time to explore further north turn right after Hokitika
to return to Christchurch via the scenic Arthurs Pass, only
a 3 hours drive. If more time is available continue north up
the beautiful West Coast to the Nelson area and return down
the unforgettable Kaikoura coast. But then you must drive the
mountain passes too. So much to see! So little time!
Fabulous
views and curvy roads
Roads here in New Zealand are generally well made and have relatively
little traffic, especially in the South Island, making the agile
Mazda a good choice for holiday travel. The superb New Zealand
scenery looks even better on a warm, blue-sky summer day from
an open-top MX5: the experience will enhance your holiday travel.

What our clients have to say......
Hi Ron, Thanks again for such smooth organisation of the car hire.
We had a great time and hope to do it again before too long. Warmest
regards, Phil and Moira
All
in all we had a great time driving in NZ and would thoroughly
recommend it to anyone (in a 5 of course!). I would say that the
roads in the South Island are MX-5 Nirvana! -
It
was a fantastic experience and I will have great things to say
about MX5 Rentals to anyone traveling to to New Zealand and the
South Island. The trips success was due to the car ability to
make the most of the environment - as well as the company and
scenery. I look forward to using you again. - Jonathan, Sydney.
